Eric Scalise is the President of LIV Enterprises & Consulting, LLC, where he provides individual, executive and organizational consulting and training. He recently served as the Vice President for Professional Development with the American Association of Christian Counselors and prior to that, as the Dept. Chair of Counseling Programs at Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA.. Dr. Scalise is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist with over 35 years of clinical and professional experience in the mental health field. He also served six years on the Virginia Board of Counseling after being appointed by Gov. George Allen and reappointed by Gov. Jim Gilmore. Other responsibilities have included his role as the Executive Director of the International Board of Christian Care (IBCC), Senior Editor for AACC Publications, Executive Director of eCounseling.com and eChristianCoaching.com, and Board Member for the International Christian Coaching Association (ICCA). Specialty areas include professional/pastoral stress and burnout, marriage and family issues, PTSD and combat trauma, addictions and recovery, leadership development and lay counselor training. He is an author, a national and international conference speaker, and frequently consults with organizations, clinicians, ministry leaders, and churches on a variety of issues. Dr. Scalise and his wife Donna have been married for 34 years, have twin sons who are combat veterans serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, and three grandchildren.
